Catching up
My needles have been busy the last few day. I am working on two shawls, one in crochet cotton on one in 2 ply alpaca. I needed a break from those projects so decided to to a felted bag. I also finished my first pair of socks done in koigu and I love that wool and can't wait to cast on the second pair. I am not working on wrist warmers that were promised to my daycare girls.(5 of them) I have one left to finish and the daycare boys started showing an interest in them, so now have 4 more pair to make! Glad they are easy and fast.
How can this be? Crystal turned 21 the middle of Feb. and now tomorrow Ryan turns 24! Where has the time gone? Crystal could not decide what she wanted for her birthday. Then she said that she wanted to go and get her hair done again, with the highlights but she couldn't really afford it right now. So that became her birthday present. So she made an appt for this morning, since she is on her spring break. Tomorrow she has a job interview in Virden. For her course they have to do job coop as part of the requirements. So far she has applied to the credit union in Virden and the credit union here. If she happens to get lucky enough to get the one in Virden she will live in my dad's basement. It works out good for them both, she won't be paying out huge rent and he gets company. And if she is lucky enough to get the one here then she can just live at home.
I saw my family doctor on Saturday for my shot, and he had a report from Dr. Dhalla. The report said that the last scope was a difficult scope. He didn't need to tell me that, I already knew! It also said that he wants to repeat in approx 2 months time this time with a florascope so he can get a better idea of what is going on. Also I am to stay on the Salofalk and I assume that will be for awhile as he gave me 10 months of refills. Tonight I have an appt with Dr Dhalla which will basically be a wast of time since Dr B has filled me in. I do not look forward to going to my 5:15 appt and not getting in till 7:00 or later. Must cast on something mindless to take with me to work on.
