Cleaning!

On Sunday we spent the whole day fall cleaning. I did the office upstairs, rearranged things, cleaned, vaccumed in corners that had been neglected over the summertime. It is looking good now, except that we need to paint in there and that will be for another weekend. Then I did our bedroom. Changed out the summer clothes for the fall & winter clothes, dusted, vaccumed and all that stuff. While I was doing that Gary did the kitchen! I must say he did a pretty darn good job too. He also did some things outside, did the recycling, cleaned the ceiling fans. It feels good to get that much done, and this coming weekend we will tackle it again. We do have a lot of painting we want to do upstairs, but it has to be on a weekend so we can do it with no interruptions.

It is looking like it will just be the 3 of us for Thanksgiving which is fine with me. Quiet is sometimes nice. I have a chicken in the freezer that I will cook up, and of course will make pumpkin pies and real whipped cream. Not sure what else we will have, but looks like any thoughts of dieting will be out the window. *S*
