Monday already

We spent another weekend at the trailer, and while the weather wasn't the best it was better than the last couple of weekends. We were able to have a fire and sit out Friday night till about 10. We just got things put away and in the trailer and down came the rain. Saturday morning Gary went golfing with some of the guys and I did some rearranging and tidying and then watched some TV and knit on a shawl and a chemo cap. I also started making some mitten and hat sets for the mitten tree at Christmas time.

After Gary got back from golfing we had a quick lunch and then went to town to help Dad out. Gary did some weedeating and then cut the grass. I pulled some grass and weeds out of flower beds and then planted some flowers for Dad. He puttered around helping me. I was worried that he was doing too much and told him to make sure he didn't overdo and he said that he was done and was going in to lay down. Gary and I puttered around in the yard giving him some extra time to rest. He was going out to a birthday supper that night so we had a coffee with him and then left so he could rest till it was time to go. Saturday night we were able to sit out at the fire till it was time to go in to bed. The mosquites were wicked, but it was nice being able to be outside.

Sunday Gary went golfing again, and I worked on my chemo caps etc again. In the afternoon Dad drove out for a visit to help put the afternoon in and stayed for supper.

And now it is back to another week. Tonight Gary has got to cut the grass if it isn't raining. It is getting really high! And this week we have got to try and get the basement more in order and finished up. Always something to do, never enough time.
