Mom to a 24 year old!
Today is Ryan's 24th birthday. I can't believe it. Still seems strange not at least seeing him on his birthday.
As I type Crystal is getting ready to head to Virden for her interview. Guess she doesn't really take after her mom at all. I remember going for job interview and being a nervous wreck, but she seems calm calm calm. She will go to my dad's and then they will go out for lunch and then she will go to the interview.
Went to my doctor's appointment last night and as always he was running very behind. But at least once we got into his office he had time to talk to us, discuss things and give me some alternatives. The good news is that I don't go back in 2 months for another dilatation. When I went to my family doctor I didn't make it clear that I had had the second scope on Feb 10th and he was reading the report from the first on. And the dilatation he was talking about was the last one I had. That certainly made my night that is for sure. For now I continue on the aggressive drug treatment and go back in 4 months to see him and we will discuss cutting back my meds to see how I do. He also discussed another drug therapy that I could use and then asked me what I thought. I asked him if that since I was feeling good and quite able to manage my crohn's would it be feasable to continue with the meds I am on and then if down the road it gets worse then to discuss the other avenue. He said that that is what he would suggest I do. I am taking the information he gave me back to my family doctor and discussing it with him and finding out a bit more about it.
My needles have been busy with the wrist warmers. I have the girls all done and now to do the boys. Then I need to get at least a couple of no thinkums cast on.
