Happy Girl!

Crystal had her interview in Virden and the next day she had one here, both at Credit Unions. On Tuesday the CU here phoned and offered her the job. On Wednesday she phoned them and told them that she would accept the offer. She hasn't heard from the Virden CU yet even though they told her they would phone her one way or the other. She is a pretty happy girl! She will get a a decent raise from what she was making at the Sub Shop plus she will be working full time hours. Now she has to go out and buy some clothes that she can wear for work, because blue jeans and sweatshirts just won't cut it. The CU is going to phone her to have her come in and discuss everything, have her fill out some papers and then make sure that she will get her 480 hours in.

Tomorrow is the last regular season hockey game. The team did make it to the playoffs but only by the skin of their teeth. It is working out really well that while we are away they are playing on the road, and then if there is a game 6 it will be played here and we will be back by then so Gary won't miss any hockey.

Today and tomorrow there is no school here so things will be a little bit busier than normal. Today I only had 3 schoolagers and 1 2yr old so it wasn't too bad. After the little one's nap I told them we were going out for a walk. My goodness, what is it with kids now a days! The little one was in the stroller and the other 3 walked and oh the complaining about how this was the LONGEST walk they had ever had to do! We went up one block, across 2 blocks, down 2 blocks and then in the back way on the bike path! By the time we got home my cheeks were getting pretty chilly! As long as we don't have some riduculous windchill tomorrow we will go again, and I might even take them further LOL!

I just know that next week is just going to drag by! I am suppose to have a dentist appt on the 22nd, but they haven't even told me what time yet. This is the same office that phoned me in Dec to tell me they had to cancel by appointment, an appointment they had failed to let me know I even had! The dentist does have those beautiful brown eyes but don't know if I like the way the office is run. Thursday and Friday Gary won't be at work as his boss signed the two of them up for a First Aid Course. A small business has to have a certain # of employees First Aid certified so it will be the boss and Gary. Then early Saturday morning we will be on the road! I am getting so excited! I know I need the break that is for sure, and so does Gary. Crystal will dogsit and hold down the fort for us.
