Sunshine

Yesterday and today the sun shone finally. Yesterday there were some cloudy periods but no rain and today it was mostly sunny. Makes one feel so much better just seeing the sun in the sky!

Last night after supper Gary helped me dig up some flower beds and then we went over to the nursery and picked up some flowers for them. Got home and planted them, all the time thinking to myself, this is the latest I can ever remember planting flowers. I just hope we don't get HOT temps right away but rather gradually so the poor little things don't bake.

Yesterday and today I did a little bit of work on the WW that I am making. Today knitting time was rather limited as I had to help the kids with their father's day presents! Oh to be so little again and to be so excited by the simplest of things!

Our weekend at the lake will be a little shorter this weekend. Tomorrow night we have to go to a BBQ with some couples that we bowl with. If at all possible we might try to sneak out by 10 so we would still have time to drive to the trailer. If we can't do that then we will just get up early in the morning and go. Gary has a tee time booked with some of the guys for 9 a.m. so he would have to drop me off, get to the course, get the carts out and all that fun stuff.

Think Dad will come out for supper on Saturday night for Father's Day. It is easier to do supper on Saturday rather than Sunday as then we aren't trying to hurry and get things cleaned up and packed up so we can get home.
