Finally a break
This morning I woke up to an almost chilly house, it was very welcome indeed. Our humidity is back were it should be, the temperatures have gone down a bit and there is a lovely breeze blowing. Just about perfect I think! So nice not to have the ac's and fans running everywhere. Hope that the weekend is just as pleasant.
With all the rain that we have had we now have a huge mosquito problem to deal with! I can't beleive the size of some of these bugs! You just don't go out the door without bug spray first that is for sure. They have been very bad at the trailer for the last couple of weeks, so we have been spending lots of time in our gazebo. Last night we went out to run errands, and picked up some of the bamboo citronella torches to try out. We like to sit out around the fire in the evenings and the pesky bugs have been making that difficult. Now to cross our fingers that by using them outside, and that they are up off the ground for a bit that they won't bother Gary. He seems to be allergic to the citronella..
Today the school age kids are all away on their end of the year field trips so it will be a rather quiet day. I have one that this is his last day till September. When he comes back his little brother will be starting daycare here as well. Haven't heard about the other's for sure yet, but I think I will have a couple away from the summer. The lighter load is always nice.
On the knitting front, I finished up the hat that matched my WW and am working on the mittens for it now. I took a pic of my WW but will have to try again, it didn't turn out very well.
